APPLY: United Nations Association of Nigeria International Peace Day Symposium 2017

Each year the International Day of Peace is observed around the world on 21 September as a day devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace, both within and among all nations and peoples. To further include young people, last year, the UN Security Council passed Resolution 2250 recognizing the role youth have to play in peace building and encouraging young governments to engage young people at all levels of peace building. Following the success of last our International Peace Day in partnership with UNIC, we hope to make this year even bigger and more impactful.
